About Matthew Rojansky
Matthew is the Deputy Director of the Russia and Eurasia program at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace. Previously, he worked as Executive Director of the Partnership for a Secure America.
Prior to joining PSA, Matthew served as a clerk to Judge Erdmann on the Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces, the top appellate court for the US military. He was previously a Fellow at Stanford’s Center for International Security and Cooperation, where he conducted research on international criminal law and served as a section instructor in political science.
Matthew has served as a public relations consultant on the Arab-Israeli conflict, and has worked and studied in the former Soviet Union. His writing, on topics ranging from terrorism and international law to NATO expansion, has been widely published in web and print media, including in the International Herald Tribune and the Jerusalem Post. He holds a J.D. from Stanford Law School and an A.B. in Soviet history from Harvard.
