About Mark Nichols
Mark Nichols is a Principal at Wesley K. Clark & Associates, a strategic advisory firm, where he advises clients on international energy, defense and homeland security strategy. Previously, he was Senior Vice President at Rodman and Renshaw, a full-service investment bank; Vice President of Clark for President; and Special Assistant to General Clark. He has also taught U.S. foreign policy at the University of Arkansas’ Clinton School of Public Service. In the Clinton Administration, Mr. Nichols served as Senior Advisor at the U.S. Department of State, where he worked with the EU and other European allies to rebuild the Balkans, and, prior to that, at the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), where he developed and implemented U.S. foreign assistance programs for Russia and the former Soviet republics. Mr. Nichols is a graduate of Columbia University and Bard College and serves on the boards of several non profit institutions.
